Terms & Conditions

Bookings will be confirmed by email or text message.

Payments are required at the time of booking which can be done via this website, or via the square app on my phone which can be done in person. A receipt of payment will be sent to you via email once payment has gone through.

I make every effort to be flexible with clients and bookings can be rescheduled at no extra cost. Notifications to cancel are required 48 hours prior to the session, otherwise full payment applies.

Owners remain responsible for their dogs during all sessions and must wear a collar and dog ID tag outside.
Children are welcome to attend sessions with a responsible adult & must follow the trainer’s guidance for their safety & the safety of others.

Whilst I make every effort to assist you towards lasting, demonstrable change to your dog’s behaviour, I do not guarantee that this will be the case, and this is not a part of my agreement with you. Many behavioural issues are closely linked to the behaviours of the owner. Lasting behavioural change in a dog is closely related to the extent to which you, as an owner, work to implement practical changes to your own behaviour and routines.

When training in public areas, it is the owner’s responsibility to ensure their dogs are fully vaccinated, wormed & have had a full vets health check.

Due to the nature of working with sentient animals, I cannot guarantee that your dog will not be exposed to stress, as this is often an essential part of the process of overcoming these stressors. While the aim is to keep stress to a minimum, you will be working practically with your dog in real world environments, where you and your dog may be alongside other people and dogs, cars, and other stressor stimuli. I will however always act for the long-term psychological health and welfare of your dog.

Denzel’s Dog Training cannot accept responsibility for injury, or damage to a person, dog, or property.
All and any bite history towards humans and other dogs must be declared at the time of enquiry/booking.
Travel costs may apply and will be agreed at time of booking.

If I feel that you are not meeting the Animal Welfare Act 2006 towards your animals, I will advise you on how to improve this. However, if I observe that there is no significant improvement, it is my duty to report you to the RSPCA.

Any behaviour or act by a dog/owner which renders Denzel’s Dog Training liable under The Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, The Control of Dogs Order 1992 or The Animal Welfare Act 2006 may lead to termination of services without notice.
